Aluminum is known as a material that distorts easily during
processing because on the one hand it features good cutting
ability, while on the other it is easily damaged and has
a high thermal expansion coefficient.
Accordingly, by making use of the specialized characteristics
of aluminum, we conduct machining in a way that controls
distortion by carefully selecting the appropriate cutting
conditions.
Levels of tolerance of 1% or less in terms of parallelism,
flatness, angularity and dimensional precision cannot be
achieved by depending on the precision of the machine alone.
However, they can be achieved by placing a priority on the
technological capabilities of skilled operators such as
experience and know-how.
The photo on the right shows a table part for an inspection
device. The dimensions are 180 (D) x 214 (W) x 381 (L) mm
and the material is A5052. This product, which features
top section parallelism of 1/100, rear side angularity of
1/100 and dimensional tolerance of 2/100, provides an overall
demonstration of our technical capabilities.
At our factory, which specializes in aluminum machining
and small lot production of many kinds of items, we manufacture
a long list of aluminum parts using techniques ranging from
0.3mm small-diameter boring and 5/1,000mm tolerance boring
to very large hole boring.
Also, as we emphasize in our ISO9001 quality policy, we
keep to the agreed delivery time at all costs. Thoroughgoing
delivery control and quality control are naturally linked
to reducing costs, and we are in the process of constructing
a system to assure that both are maintained
We urge you to see for yourself the products made by Nakata,
which is unusual in being a Japanese precision parts manufacturer
that specializes in aluminum machining.
