Our Concern for the Environment Led Us to Develop the SK Pouch Container

Sharp Chemical, which is committed to developing socially acceptable products as all-around manufacturer of adhesives and Sealants, has now perfected an environmentally compatible container called the SK pouch.

Conventional containers for sealants and adhesives do not reduce in volume after their contents have been used up, so they have to be thrown away as they are, which causes considerable problems not only at construction sites but in ordinary households too.

By using the SK pouch, the volume of waste that needs to be discarded can be reduced to as little as a tenth that of conventional containers. Moreover, the amount of resources needed to make this new product is just a fifth that of conventional methods, making the SK pouch a very environmentally friendly container indeed.

And that's not all.
The SK pouch is also highly functional. Conventional cartridge containers are impossible to work manually, but the SK pouch allows the user to work either mechanically with a tool or by squeezing out the contents manually.The basic design of this container was recognized by a 2001 Good Design Award.

Incidentally, the contents we pack into the SK pouch are also materials that take human and environmental health into full consideration. Only non-formalin and non-toluene ingredients are used.(Patent applications pending in Japan and overseas)
