The Coaken Techno gas flame wire thermal sprayer uses a mixture of oxygen and either acetylene or propane gas to generate a flame. This instantaneously melts metals and alloys, and then compressed air is used to atomize the melt, which is then applied in a cold coating process. The device is easy to use and durable. The patented gas valve mechanism greatly reduces backfiring and fire accidents, which are common with conventional gas thermal sprayers.

There are two models, the mechanical mounted CD-3 and the manual M-7.

Electrical arc discharge instantaneously melts wire metals and alloys, and then compressed air is used for atomization. The atomized product can then be coated in a cold process.

To feed the spray material, a patented push and pull technique is used in which a high-end compact AC servomotor electrically synchronizes the main feeder of the sprayer and the spray gun motor. This eliminates many of the problems with feeding the wire material that occur with conventional electrical arc thermal sprayers.

Two models are available, the general-use EAS-WD and the on-site model AT-100.
