Non-contact pneumatic online thickness measuring system model NSW-EA makes measurements by means of the gap air resistance between the air nozzle and the sheet surface (backpressure).

The air emitted from the nozzle is balanced in such a way as to maintain a constant gap between the object and the nozzle. Measuring the displacement at the nozzle allows non-contact measurement of the thickness of the object.
