The manufacturing policy of HIRAGUCHI SEITAN CO., LTD. is to always take the first step forward not in denial but in affirmation. This is because we believe that the most important thing is to pursue the sheer joy of manufacturing, creation and research. The company responds to its customers' wide-ranging demands by commercializing shapes that are conventionally considered difficult to produce by forging because they are extremely complicated.

 Cold Forging Technology

We are Proud of Our World Class Cold Forging Technology

We are Proud of Our World Class Cold Forging Technology

Based on its Original Creative Power, Hiraguchi Seitan Utilizes Cold Forging Technology to Realize Dream Products

Since its establishment in 1980, Hiraguchi Seitan has worked closely with its customers as an exclusive cold forging manufacturer. In recent years, our advanced technological prowess has been highly evaluated throughout the manufacturing sector, and as a result we have achieved significant growth in sales and succeeded in expanding and completing our facilities.

In particular, in the ABS (Auto Breaking System) sensoring field, which is indispensible in securing automobile driving safety, we have reduced cutting costs to a mere fraction of the cost of conventional methods, while at the same time achieving a remarkably increased precision.

Moreover, unlike conventional cutting, cold forging is a processing method that does not produce wasteful swarf, so from this perspective we are contributing to the environmental load reduction efforts of a variety of industries.

We possess original methods of developing metal molds and processes, which are the most important elements in cold forging. Backed by these techniques, we are entrusted with trial production and development work by a number of leading companies, and we are also pouring our power into providing technological guidance.

Furthermore, we are continuing to move forward based on our more than 40 years of cold forging-related experience and accumulated technological know-how. For example, we are making a constant effort to develop peripheral technology and new products in addition to strengthening our cost competitiveness, improving energy efficiency and reducing the environmental load of the processes we employ.

Internationally, we have also obtained a high evaluation from Holzer of Germany (In 2003, we obtained an "construction method patent.")
