Demagnetizer - For Continuously Demagnetizing of Metallic
Parts

When metallic parts placed in a magnetic field undergo pressing, cutting and
bending processes, they tend to become slightly magnetized. A demagnetizer is
a device for removing this magnetism.
Capable of performing demagnetization
of parts transported via a belt conveyor on a continuous basis, Shimonishi's demagnetizer
reduces residual magnetic-flux density to less than 5 gauss (0.5 tesla). The device
can effectively demagnetize parts of up to approx. 5cm3 in volume.
This device absorbs and removes foreign matter such as fine iron particles,
etc., from powders or solutions using a powerful magnet.
The main unit is
made of stainless steel 316L, which features strong corrosion resistance. With
its powerful magnetism it is capable of removing even fine iron particles.
Moreover,
the device has a structure that facilitates one-touch resetting for ease of cleaning.
The iron particles that adhere to the sides of the magnet case can be removed
from the unit by using the one-touch clamp. Then cleaning can be done easily by
pulling out the bar magnet.
Unlike with conventional systems, there is no
need for bothersome work such as manually squeezing the magnet frame. To clean
the Reset Mag, you simply rinse the frame with water and wipe it dry.
