Porte Shock Absorber-Equipped Casters

A caster with its own built-in shock absorber, Porte has made it possible to reduce vibration and shock during caster movement to just a twentieth that of conventional casters (in-house comparison).

In addition, by controlling vibration, the caster’s running sound and dust generation can also be reduced remarkably. This makes Porte casters ideal for carrying precision equipment and parts.

With urethane as the basic caster material, Porte also includes a lineup of anti-static casters with a ground resistance of approx. 108Ω/cm for use in transporting items that can be damaged by static electricity.

Moreover, by employing stainless steel (SUS304) as the material for the metallic parts, these casters have good anti-rusting specifications that make them suitable for use in clean room conditions. And in addition, we can also manufacture fluorine grease-specification products.

Air Caster Super-Lightweight Casters

Employing a next-generation new material (super special powerful steel plate), our Air Caster, which was developed in pursuit of the themes of “slim and lightweight” as well as “strong”, reverses the conventional wisdom that a caster’s strength and operating life depends on how thick and heavy it is. This product features a lower caster self-weight plus significantly improved turning performance. The Air Caster is an operator-friendly caster that helps to improve productivity by reducing the amount of effort imposed on the operator and improving the efficiency and workability of truck-based load handling and carrying.

The steel plate used in the Air Caster is a lightweight and highly shockproof material now being widely used by carmakers and boasting characteristics greatly exceeding those of conventional high-tensile steel plate. Compared with super-high-tensile materials that have a tensile strength of 35~60kg/mm2, this material features a tensile strength of 160kg/mm2 in addition to possessing high strength and elasticity thanks to our own original processing method. Thanks to this material, we have succeeded in significantly improving the turning performance that determines the caster’s operating life.

Low-Floor Super-Heavy-Load-Bearing Casters

Low-floor super-heavy-load-bearing casters were designed exclusively in response to requests from customers who wanted to cut down on the height of the machinery they were using. We have reduced the diameter of these casters to just 50~80mm while succeeding in raising the maximum load to 400~500daN.

What’s more, we’ve taken great care over the choice of caster materials, ranging from phenol, which combines excellent anti-dry heat resistance with good compressibility, for the wheels to MC nylon, which has superb conductivity characteristics such as volume specific resistance, for the bearings. So in addition to featuring excellent durability these casters naturally require less starting power.
