The Porte Caster with Shock Absorber

The Porte is the first caster in the world to have a built-in miniature shock absorber, shown in in-house testing to reduce the vibration and shock in tests to one twentieth of conventional casters.

That reduced vibration also means less caster noise and a decreased concern of dirt due to vibration. The Porte is the ideal choice for precision equipment and parts.

The base material used for the wheel is urethane, and the ground resistance provides about 108 ohms, preventing static electricity build up and making it safe for conveying parts adverse to electrical charge.

The other parts of the Porte are made from stainless steel with specifications designed to resist rust and to be suitable for use in clean rooms. They also produce the Porte made to fluorine grease specifications.

The Ultra Lightweight Air Caster

Overturning the conventional wisdom that thicker and heavier makes for a stronger, more durable caster, Yuei Caster has made the Air Caster thinner, lighter and stronger. Using next-generation ultra-strong steel sheets, they decreased the weight of the Air Caster itself while greatly improving the rotation performance. The Air Caster makes assembly work easier, improving productivity, and improves performance and efficiency when conveying loads on dollies, a truly operator-friendly caster.

To make such incredible improvements, they employed a high-tension sheet steel material growing in popularity among auto manufacturers for its ability to withstand strong shock despite its light weight. Compared to conventional ultra high-tension materials capable of handling a tensile strength of 35 to 60 kilograms per square millimeter, this steel is tested at 160 kilograms. Yuei Caster produces the Air Caster with a unique manufacturing process to ensure high strength and resilience, successfully gaining a dramatic improvement to the rotation performance, the lifeline of any caster.

The five benefits of the Air Caster

The five benefits of the Air Caster

Low-profile ultra heavy-duty casters

In response to manufacturers whose machinery sits close to the floor, Yuei Caster developed the Air Caster to have a low-profile while being capable of handling ultra heavy loads. The wheel diameter is between 50 and 80 millimeters, and handle a maximum load between 400 to 800 daN (decanewtons) depending on the model.

Great care was also taken in selecting the wheel materials. For example, one model of the Air Caster comes with wheels made from a phenol resin for its superior dry heat and compression resistance. Another excellent model comes with MC (monomer cast) nylon wheels for an excellent volume resistivity no greater than 106 ohms•centimeter, and the bearings are higher performance to provide easy starting and durability.
