Over the past half-century, industrial equipment and facilities have progressed to an extent that is truly remarkable. At Geo. Prince too, we have been making consistent efforts to respond to the changing demands of the times based on the experience, know-how and technology we been accumulating as a comprehensive hardware maker since the company’s foundation in 1950. In the course of these endeavors we have achieved steady progress both in developing totally new products and in making major improvements to existing products.

In the industrial equipment field, we manufacture and sell an extensive range hardware items including handles, hinges, pulls, catch clips, cam locks, magnetic catches, etc., for all kinds of machinery and equipment. And in response to requests for customized orders, we handle everything from drawing to completion of molds and products in a consistent and responsible fashion.

We manufacture products from a wide variety of materials including lost-wax stainless steel products, diecast zinc products, forged brass products, aluminum products, pressed products, resin products, etc. Moreover, according to the purpose of use, we can combine two or more materials to create products that take advantage of their different physical or chemical characteristics.

Back when Geo. Prince began making fittings for house interior use by manufacturing its first brass door handles using sand mold casting, the word “interior” wasn’t even in common use in Japan.

Over the 50 years since then, we have continued manufacturing and selling genuine metallic fittings for use in constructed spaces, in keeping with our slogan of “superior quality and human-friendly design”.

Nowadays, the range of products we handle has expanded to encompass a long list of items including lever handles and hinges for residential-use doors, furniture and kitchen-use knobs, as well as base accessories.

With regard to materials too, our products are made of a wide range of metals such as aluminum, diecast zinc and stainless steel, selected on the basis of application suitability and cost performance.

Our stainless steel products, in particular, are warmly welcomed by the market on account of their high level of finishing and attractive prices.
