The LOBSTER Brand Hybrid Series was developed based on the concept of meeting the following three strong demands from the tool industry.

The LOBSTER Brand Cordless Rebar Cutter is a product jointly developed by and featuring the combined technologies of Takako Industries Inc. the company with the world's top technology and top share in the compact axial piston pump field, and Lobtex, a total tool maker that possesses excellent tool development know-how.

Boasting an axial piston pump built into the main unit (a first for the industry), the LOBSTER Brand Cordless Rebar Cutter is a compact and beautifully balanced tool that is also the lightest weight product of its kind.

Moreover, the axial piston pump features excellent working efficiency, which helps to rein in power consumption. In synergy with the use of a large-capacity nickel-hydride battery, this boosts the cutter's maximum working capacity per charge from approx. 40 pieces to approx. 70 pieces (compared with our conventional product).

Furthermore, thanks to the extra-hard head section, which has already obtained a favorable response when used in our conventional product, there is almost no post-cut scattering of rebar fragments.
