The Lobster Hybrid Series is a popular line of products that include monkey wrenches and water pump pliers, created to meet the strong demand of the tool industry and developed on the following concepts:
- Thin – conventional tools are too thick to fit into the tight spaces where bolt and nuts must so often be used
- Lightweight – an innovative film was used to ensure adequate strength, while greatly decreasing the weight, which is so critical with tools
- Width – with a larger opening than conventional tools, bolts and nuts one size larger can be handled
Another brand they have is the Skeleton Series, with its soft grips for a user-friendly approach, and their short-grip pocket monkey wrench is particularly lightweight. They never stop developing and expanding their product lines.
The Lobster Cordless Rebar Cutters were developed by combining technology from Takako, the company holding the largest market share in the world for miniature axial piston pumps, and in-house technology given Lobtex’s expertise as a general tool manufacturer.
Mounting an axial piston pump on the main unit for the first time ever resulted in the lightest such product in the industry that was also compact and had favorable tool balance.
The axial piston pump provides favorable operation efficiency with low power consumption. The large-capacity nickel hydrogen battery provides a synergistic effect, dramatically increasing the number of rebar cuts from about 40 per charge to 70 (based on an in-house comparison).
A feature that has been immensely popular is the extra rigidity in the head, eliminating almost all rebar scattering when cutting.
Cutting capacity: odd-shaped steel bars, no greater than 16 millimeters in diameter (completely compatible with JIS SD345).
