"Controlling Water with Water" - The Concept Behind Our Epoch-Making Pipe Connector

The waterproof capability of conventional joints used in the underground pipes that protect subterranean electrical cables and communication cables is maintained by several means including triple winding of three different kinds of tapes, the use of rubber packings, or tightening with bolts, etc.

However, our revolutionary Pipe Connector is made using a special combined water-expansible nonwoven cloth on the inside and armoring made of synthetic resin (HDPE or PP) in an integrated form. The joint works simply by being inserted into the pipe. The internal special nonwoven cloth reacts immediately in the event of water seeping in from the outside by expanding to close any gaps between the joint and the pipe, resulting in a superior waterproofing capability.

In Japan, we supply this joint on an OEM basis to a certain leading company with a more than 50% market share, and we are also moving to sell this joint aggressively in overseas markets and in other fields.
