Takako Industries produces pressure generating parts for axial piston pumps used in aircraft, construction equipment and machine tools at their plants in Japan, the US and Vietnam. They hold 80 percent of the market share in Japan and 50 percent in the world overall.

2010 will be their 37th year in business, and during that time, they have brought together a high level of expertise in precision part and hydraulic part technologies. From that knowledge base, they succeeded in integrating the hydraulic pump and a motor to develop a miniature hydrostatic transmission. The incorporation of hydraulics enabled a compact design while ensuring stable forward and reverse operation and a powerful torque.

They have also added a cylinder to their miniature high-pressure pump for electric tool and hydraulic jack applications.
