The natural ore has the effect of suppressing the generation and growth of bacteria inside the containers.

The containers have been shown to be effective against potentially dangerous bacteria such as Escherichia Coli 0157 and Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).in a survey by the Public Inspection Organization.
