Non-Contact 2-Dimensional Dimension Measurement Apparatus
Using the Image Position Detection Method
While moving around
a work piece placed on a stage, the device's CCD camera recognizes certain shape
elements such as angles, sides, circles, etc. and determines their values as position
coordinates, then the PC section calculates the distances between these various
coordinates according to a pre-installed program.
The measurement
results are output using Excel (CVS form) according to the user's designated format.
The measured dimensions are then determined to have passed or failed through reference
to the design figure and tolerance values. Moreover, because the shape-recognized
image is automatically recorded, conditional observation is also available.
Programming
of camera movement and measuring points can be performed quickly and easily using
the learning function. This is very convenient for making repeat intra-lot and
inter-lot measurements.
