Continuing to Follow Our Own Path as a Thin Film Innovator Employing Original Technology

During the course of its 40-year history, Sanyo Vacuum Industries has accumulated high achievements in the thin film processing field.Particularly in the case of LCD panel-use ITO film, we have been deeply involved in the development of this field since its inception in the 1970s. In addition, our original in-house developed sputtering technology, has led the industry in achieving reduced resistance, as a result of which we are playing a major role in supporting further evolution of LCD technology.

When the drive toward colored LCD displays began in the 1990s, our superb low-temperature deposition technology matched the needs of the industry and began mass production of color filter-use ITO film.

At present, we have developed Anti-reflection (AR) film mainly for mobile phone use. Among our other products are TFT-use gate film substrate, LCD/PDP/OLED-use ITO film substrate, touch panel-use ITO film substrate, plastic film-covered multi-function film substrate, anti-reflection film substrate, etc. All of the above items have won the wide-ranging trust of our customers as high value-added products.
