Developed by a Scholar,
the Tochu Health Waist Belt Contributes to Lifelong Health
and Working Ability
The Tochu health waist belt was perfected as the result of
a joint research and development program carried out by the
Chugoku Kagakuin Kagaku Kenkyusho (an institute of higher
education in China, where our repreentative director and president
teaches as a professor) and Bunkan Dosai Ika Daikagku, Kyowa
Byoin (a major Chinese teaching hospital). The effects of
this belt were realized when people suffering from waist pain,
knee pain, foot pain, etc., who were unable to obtain relief
from other remedies, reported remarkable improvements after
using the belt. Its effects appeared clearly in the excellent
results of clinical trials at the teaching hospital, which
have been published.
The Tochu health waist belt features a structure
that includes two Tochu bands, one hard and the other soft.
With these two plates the support base, traditional Chinese
medicine (TCM) is placed between the plates. The acti ve ingredients
of the TCM permeate the Tochu plates and react with the Tochu
ingredients. The resulting mixture acts on the back and the
waist of the wearer to produce positive healing effects.
The shape and size of the Tochu plates can
also be designed so that the dispersed gravity acts on the
waist to lighten pain.
