New Boat SL2 is a top-quality cylindrical surface support material with a molecular weight of approx. 6.2 million, which is manufactured using our original production technology and was realized following a 30-year program of R&D carried out jointly by Takazawa and a top manufacturer of resin surface-support materials.

This material achieves a high standard of surface support, providing a performance several times better than that of rival bearing materials in terms of abrasion ratio, abrasion resistance and strength, which are the most important factors for a propeller shaft bearing.
