Hybrid Desiccant Air Conditioning
System
A New Concept in Air Conditioning for the 21st
Century! Introducing the "Desiccant Air Conditioning
System"
The Desipack® hybrid desiccant air conditioning
system controls humidity together with temperature by removing
excess moisture from the air using a silica gel desiccant.
Compared with conventional cooling & dehumidifying systems,
the Desipack® has a higher dehumidifying capability while
also removing latent heat. Accordingly, it exhibits its strengths
for low humidity air conditioning in a broad range of fields
from high-quality product R&D facilities and manufacturing
plants to large-scale shopping facilities. In addition, it
is suitable as an anti-condensation countermeasure as well
as for outside air processing.
Furthermore, the Desipack® is a high cost-performance
air conditioning system. Because it can effectively utilize
exhaust heat sources (such as warm water, steam, cogeneration
exhaust heat), its running costs can be significantly reduced
and it is effective in helping reduce energy demand as a replacement
for conventional electrical or gas powered air conditioning
equipment.
Desipack® Applications and Needs
- Semiconductor material processing rooms
(30% humidity maintaining)
- Pharmaceutical clean rooms (environmental
stabilization)
- Paper manufacturing plants (low humidity
and outside air processing)
- Supermarkets (cold aisles)
