Demand Warning Device

Demand Warning Device
System overview of Demand Warning Device

The Integration of Energy Saving Measurement Technology and Power Line Communication Technology!!

In recent years, in consideration of a number of issues related to preserving the global environment, energy saving and cost cutting, cutting the peak demand for electric power has been taken up widely as a major task. In many companies, how to reduce the maximum electrical power demand is also an important pillar of expense reduction efforts. Takemoto Denki has developed a manually operated demand controller that unites energy saving measurement technology with Power Line Communication technology. The CSA-92 demand controller measures the watt hour service pulse from the watt hour meter and output a warning alarm when the power demand reaches the preset target level.

The device can transmit the warning alarm contact signal from the electrical room to the main office using pre-existing power cables and sockets to inform the manager via an alarm buzzer and lamp. Then the manager can issue instructions to staff to adjust the air conditioning, lighting, etc. in order to restrain maximum power demand.

This manually operated demand control system boasts unrivalled cost effectiveness and doesn't require expensive wiring work.
