Precision Cutting of Video Player Drums
Increasing the World of Possibilities with Precision Cutting
In 1971, Tenking was the first company in the industry to successfully machine guide drums for video tape recorders (VTRs), and they turned that innovation into a mass production operation. Subsequently, manufacturers began working on technologies for machining VTR drums, which led to general consumer VTRs, a product that had been available only as professional equipment for television stations. Today, more than 10 percent of the drums made for VTRs produced in the world are made by Tenking.
Tenking has applied the precision cutting and quality control expertise developed while manufacturing VTR drums to other products.
The Tenking lineup of productions therefore extends beyond quality, low-cost VTR drums to components for automobiles, cameras and other products requiring quality and reliability.
