Since its establishment in 1951, Tsukatani has worked to facilitate the cutting of all kinds of materials while mastering the techniques of high quality cutting and punching. At present, the company has three main departments, specializing in Steel cutting rules, Pinnacle dies and Business form cutting parts, respectively, each of which is responding to the era in terms of such needs as small volume production of many kinds of products and short-period delivery.
For example, the Steel cutting rules was developed specifically for the purpose of cutting out the patterns of paper and cardboard containers, etc. When a Steel cutting rules is inserted into a groove that has been machined into a veneer board using a laser, it can be used on a press machine, etc., to diecut the pattern of a paper or cardboard container.
The Business form parts is designed to make snap-away perforations on the paper slips that are often attached to purchased products, and to punch holes into paper for binder use.
The Pinnacle die is a product in of which blades are made by our own machine sharpening technology after etching treatment to iron plate. This kind of die is now used extensively in a host of industries.
In particular, Pinnacle dies have recently gained attention as an ideal cutting tool for producing mobile phone and PC-use LC display-related parts, and we have accumulated an impressive shipment record in this field.
