MORITA SEIKI CO., LTD. strives to respond to the diverse needs of mold users by producing prototypes during the product development stage. In cooperation with our users, we are developing and commercializing technology for the press forming of cold forging parts for hybrid vehicle transmissions, beginning with battery-use cells.
Research into New Methods and Reverse Engineering
A mold manufacturer that is engaged in the development of new methods and technologies of press processing
In recent years, a variety of new automobile parts have been developed in an effort to tackle environmental issues. We are working hard on a daily basis on the research and development of molds, which are the key technology in the mass production of these parts.
Super square cut drawing of nickel-plated steel plate
The material used for the casing of lithium batteries is aluminum. These products are made with a technology that transcends the drawing process limits.
We have developed a type of molds and a process that help to achieve circularity and straightness of 50µ or less in press processing. The eight grooves around the outer rim can be milled by press processing, which means costly methods such as casting and machining are not necessary.
We have introduced 3D-measurement equipment that allows users to acquire 3D data even on hand-processed parts. This equipment reduces the time required for adjustment during parts replacement and allows rapid recovery after damage to parts.
