Here is an example of a production line system combined with a robot for conveying and stacking products on pallets, and then conveying the pallets. Ichiko planned, designed, produced, installed and adjusted this system.

In the upper part of the photograph, a refrigeration unit (also manufactured by Ichiko) passes products to two commercial robots, and when the programmed quantity accumulates on the table between the robots, a third robot collects them and loads them on a pallet on the conveyor.

There are two locations for placing the products on the conveyor. This allows the line to continue running when the pallet is being replaced for higher efficiency.

Traversers are conveyance devices that move sideways. Along with loading devices, traversers are useful for conveying and loading in factories and warehouses as alternatives to conveyor belts.

Ichiko designs and manufactures these devices as well.

Ichiko accepts customized requests to design solutions for conveying products from one location to another.

The traverser in the photograph is part of a mother/child conveyance system. The mother unit runs horizontally, and the child traverser runs vertically. Provided with a lifter, the child traverser can raise and lower items, demonstrating the design flexibility Ichiko provides for its customers.

Ichiko can also propose ideas for loading devices meeting specific needs such as loading using a sandwiching approach, clamping or vacuuming.
