After consulting with the customer on product conceptualization, they build on their base of handmade production to produce sensible, reliable products. They also produce chip foam, a recyclable product made from their mainstay material, flexible urethane foam. In great demand as a cushioning material, this ecologically friend product is manufactured in-house for a uniquely textured finish in custom colors. To further decrease the burden on the environment, Sumiyoshi Kasei uses scraps and leftover materials when possible for processing and molding.
