Ship windows: KOKOSHA manufactures and sells all sorts of ship windows from generic types to special orders. Round and square windows for general merchant vessels and training ships; A0 rated fireproof windows for passenger ships and ferries; A60 rated fireproof windows for liquefied natural/petroleum gas ships; heated windows for icebreakers. Of special note are KOKOSHA’s underwater observatory windows used in locations such as the Shirahama Submarine Observation Tower in Wakayama, Japan and the Fish Eye Marine Park Underwater Observatory in Piti, Guam.
Illumination and wiring devices: KOKOSHA manufactures and sells Flame-Proof fluorescent and incandescent lights such as floodlights and signal lights for liquefied natural/petroleum gas ships and tankers. Other lights include a variety of emergency and decorative lights used on many ferries in Japan.
With the move in recent years toward energy conservation and carbon dioxide reductions for ships, KOKOSHA has worked on developing high-output LED and fluorescent high-frequency lights and more powerful reflectors.
Power devices for refrigerated containers: KOKOSHA began manufacturing and selling plugs and receptacles for refrigerated containers even before they were built in Japan.
