●State-of-the-art technology to manufacture deformed wires with deformed cross-sections

"NAMITEI's strength is to be able to provide more complex and functional defromed wires according to customers' needs," said CEO Murao.
Rather than fabricating a general wire with a round cross section from scratch, metal part manufacturers can make various parts just by cutting or with less forging process by use modified wires with a cross-sectional shape close to the final parts. As a result, those wires bring time saving operation and cost reduction to customers in the industries of automobiles, architectural hardwares and electric appliances.

In addition, by inserting those deformed wires into cold heading equipment, NAMITEI manufactures deformed parts with complex shapes that are difficult to be processed from normal round wires.

●A 100% share of the Japanese optical submarine cables by making highly accurate deformed wires

The optical submarine cable installed on the seabed must withstand high water pressures of up to 800 water pressure. NAMITEI has established a high level of technical ability to produce seamless deformed wires with a length of 80 to 90 km while maintaining the same shape with tight tolerances. That is why NAMITEI is the sole supplier of the deformed wire tube to protect optical submarine cable in Japan. As of 2012, the length of NAMKITEI's optical submarine cables has reached 200,000 km = 5 rounds of the earth.

●From iron to non-ferrous. Moving forward to the next era with complete QC system

Around 10 years ago, NAMITEI has begun to manujfacture copper parts in addition to iron parts forecasting trend of electrification in the automotive industry. Murao said, "The current target is the automobile industry, where electrification is rapidly progressing. And in the future we would like to further penetrate non-ferrous fields so that we can utilize NAMITEI's processing technology and proposal capabilities,"

Entering in tertiary processing products using deformed wires, NAMITEI has improved and established new quality control to avoid troubles during mass production.
