Extra-large ball bearing outer ring (φ2000 x width 200)

●Special skill
Leveraging our experience in machining bearing components, one of our main products, we are confident in our ability to machine parts into perfect circles.

● Precision possible even for extra-large items
Although material stress, shrinkage due to processing temperature, and gripping distortion during processing have a significant impact, our unique processing know-how allows us to achieve roundness of 0.05 or less and dimensional accuracy of ±0.2 or less even with an outer diameter of φ2000mm.

SUS large precision equipment parts φ1200

● Fields where uncompromising processing is essential.
1) Large bearing components: Used in wind power generation, railway vehicles, steel rolling processes, machine tools, large construction machinery, etc.
2) Plant and precision equipment parts: Used in motors, vacuum pumps, gas turbines, etc.

It serves as the foundation for all industrial sectors.

●Materials that can be processed
We handle everything from single items to mass production using materials such as bearing steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron (FC200).

Ultra thin wall processing

High precision even for thin-walled products!

Bearing case, 1.5mm wall thickness, fully machined.

● Our commitment to thin-wall processing
In machining, the thinner the material, the more difficult it becomes to remove material and the harder it is to maintain consistent dimensional accuracy.

Rest assured! Shinwa Iron Works has thin-wall processing technology that we have cultivated since our founding. Even for thin-walled ring products that are a challenge for our customers, we manufacture them with attention to all dimensions, roundness, and roughness.

Contributing to society through "manufacturing" and "human resource development"

We take pride in our advanced technical capabilities and thorough quality control.

From obtaining ISO9001 and 14001 certifications to quickly responding to customer needs with high quality, fair pricing, and on-time delivery (QCD), we consistently contribute to society by providing valuable products in a variety of ways.

Opening up new fields through highly efficient production of large, thin-walled ring components.

Job description: Precise machining of large parts such as bearings.

We specialize in the precision machining of large metal parts, such as bearing components used in wind power generation equipment, construction machinery, and steel rolling mill rollers.
A major bearing manufacturer, impressed by the large-scale parts processing technology cultivated through the manufacturing of plumbing components, took notice of the company's mass production orders. In 2001, the company built a 24-hour mass production factory in Nara Prefecture. Although it experienced a decline in orders during the 2008 Lehman Shock, it increased its customer base through strengthened sales activities and measures to shorten delivery times using its own trucks. With plans for aggressive capital investment, the company is now on a path to renewed growth.

Strengths: Unique know-how in "thin-walled" processing

President Kazutoshi Maruyama expressed confidence in his company's technology, stating, "We can manufacture thin-walled parts such as the inner and outer rings of large bearings with high precision and at low cost."
Using a large turning center, they machine ring parts from cylindrical materials, with diameters of over 1 meter and thicknesses of 1.5 mm to 5 mm. They possess unique know-how that allows them to achieve a perfect roundness of less than 0.1 mm even for parts with a diameter of 2 meters.
Furthermore, using a processing method called "cutting out," it is possible to cut multiple parts from the base material, instead of processing them one by one as is normally done, thus reducing the material cost per unit. In addition to iron, they also handle stainless steel and aluminum, and they also produce parts for heavy industry manufacturers.

Equipment expansion: Strategic investments aim to expand into the aerospace sector.

To create a management system that can respond to fluctuations in orders, the company is also pursuing the development of new fields. They are collaborating with casting and forging manufacturers to propose to major manufacturers the provision of finished parts that integrate multiple processes, and are also taking on orders for single parts, aiming to attract new business and customers. President Maruyama believes that "looking ahead, it's necessary to increase what we can do," and is consciously working on this.
Currently, the company is targeting the aerospace sector. Strategic capital investments are being made, including the introduction of a machining center (MC) capable of processing parts with a diameter of 1,200 mm (twice the size of conventional machines) and a high-precision 3D measuring machine at the Nara factory, and preparations are steadily progressing.
