Greater Manchester (GM), located in northwest England, was a center of the Industrial Revolution and in recent years has been conducting world-leading technological research in fields such as decarbonization, life sciences, advanced manufacturing technologies, and new materials.
GM and the City of Osaka have signed a memorandum of understanding on initiatives toward decarbonization, and plan to promote cooperation in a wide range of fields going forward.

We are pleased to announce that a mission led by GM Mayor Andy Burnham will be visiting Osaka to host a seminar on the potential for business creation through industrial, technological, and business collaborations.

Following the seminar, we will also hold a business networking event with Manchester companies that are interested in collaborating with Osaka companies.
Those interested in international business partnerships are encouraged to participate.
