[Design Open College] <Forum> From Osaka to the World! Expanding Business Opportunities Through License Utilization

"From Osaka to the World! Expanding Business Opportunities Through Licensing: How to Overcome Licensing Barriers? Real-World Commercialization Lessons from On-the-Ground Wisdom and Expert Perspectives"
Osaka Prefecture, in collaboration with the Osaka Industrial Promotion Organization, will be hosting a panel discussion on the theme of "licensing business" utilizing manga and anime characters and brands.

We will welcome Denshi Gihan Co., Ltd., which has taken on the challenge of launching an art goods brand utilizing its own technology, and Fuji Seimitsu Co., Ltd., which is using its own character "Gugu," which has attracted attention on social media, for branding, as panelists. They will introduce case studies of "product development, strategy, and promotion" based on their respective practical experiences, as well as perspectives and ingenuity for achieving results.

The moderator will be the representative lawyer of Muroya General Law Office, who is well-versed in business practices and copyright/trademark rights in the media and entertainment industry, and will explore the possibilities of the licensing business.
