30th EMC Kansai 2025: EMC Issues and Countermeasures for Electronic Equipment Related to Pulsed Interference Waves - Lightning Strikes/HPEM/Power Electronics/EFT -

In recent years, climate change caused by global warming has led to a frequent occurrence of weather-related disasters such as lightning strikes.

Furthermore, autonomous vehicles and drones are being put into practical use for transporting goods and inspecting high-altitude structures, with the aim of improving efficiency, safety, and cost reduction. If these devices or power and communication equipment are affected by high-energy electromagnetic waves (HPEM) such as lightning strikes, the risk of human casualties and disruption of social infrastructure increases.
Furthermore, in response to growing environmental concerns, the electrification of vehicles and the development of power electronics applications such as solar power generation are becoming widespread, and the impact of electromagnetic waves emitted from these high-voltage, high-current devices is increasing.
From this perspective, this year's EMC Kansai 2025 will focus on "EMC Issues and Countermeasures for Electronic Equipment Related to Pulsed Interference," and will feature lectures by leading experts in various fields.
