Exchange students (USA and Taiwan) from Osaka University of Commerce visited MOBIO to learn about manufacturing companies in Osaka. Before beginning the tour, everyone marked their origin on the map called "where are you from?".

King Parts' staff, who happened to visit the Hall on the day, gave them a direct explanation about the lost wax method、showing a company brochure depicted in a manga. Knowing that the Great Buddha of Nara was made using this method, the student understood and smiled, 'Ah, I see.'
The metal tumbler carved into an egg shape looks like one piece, but it is two parts joined together. Everyone was captivated by the high precision of the craftsmanship of this traditional toy, which is hard to notice immediately.
Students Picked up various screwdrivers on display and set the screws at the tips. The screw wouldn't fall off even if they shook the tools because the tip of the tool has a tapered (angle).
Students lifted a sample board made by recycled carbon fiber (CFRP) formed with adhesives and were surprised by its lightness. This material contributes to weight reduction in wheelchairs, nursing beds, automobiles, aircraft, and more.

At the special display corner exhibiting the headlights and rear lamps of electric motorcycles, which was designed by Gundam's mechanical designer, students let out a little scream "It's Gundam!" Everyone's eyes sparkled with excitement, saying, "It's so cool!" and "I want it!"
The tour ended with a final commemorative photo with an energetically chant 'Mobio!' We hope this tour will help the students better understanding of Japanese craftsmanship!
