The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has launched the 19th call for applications for the "Manufacturing, Commercial, and Service Productivity Improvement Promotion Subsidy" to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and micro-enterprises in their efforts to develop innovative services, prototypes, and cultivate overseas markets. This support is intended to help SMEs and micro-enterprises respond to a series of changes in the business environment they will face over the next several years (such as work style reforms, expansion of employee insurance coverage, wage increases, and the introduction of the invoice system).
