Description of business
Takaishi Industry manufactures and manages all of its products at its own plants in Japan, from the combining and mixing of rubber materials to forming, finishing, inspecting and shipping the final products.
The company's strongest areas include sealing materials that are used around faucet fittings, toilets and gas appliances, as well as diaphragms used in air pumps. Besides all-rubber products, the company also prides itself in its integrated rubber and metal moldings.
Hydrogen-Resistance-Rubber is currently being used for hydrogen station, EPDM rubber for low temperature and high pressure, FKM rubber for high temperature and high pressure. O-rings made of EPDM have been applied in emergency breakaway coupling used in hydrogen dispenser of 70MPa hydrogen station. Also O-rings made of FKM have been applied for hydrogen compressor.
The company also manufactures prototypes and provides advice on materials on the premise of mass production.
