Fuserashi Parts Supporting Functionality, Creating Value

Precision Headed Parts

Since Fuserashi was founded in 1933, they have used heading technologies to create parts that meet the needs of customers in a wide range of fields.

With the twenty-first century unfolding before us, a momentous transition is occurring in which the focus of customers is shifting from concrete objects to forms of added value and functionality that are less tangible.
Examples of this transition include emphasis on the environment, information-based development and enhancing the functions of urban areas.

Moving in step with this transition, Fuserashi is dedicated to producing the parts need to support this shift and add value to products.
They have expanded their work vision from being a manufacturer of parts to being a general parts producer, incorporating ever more complex tasks at more advanced levels.

Part Manufacturing for the Future

Fuserashi looks forward to continuing in their contributions to society with cutting-edge technology that is friendly to the environment.

Micro-pins to Accelerate Information Technology

Fuserashi produces the micro-parts such as pins and tubes used in mobile phone batteries.

As cutting was not possible for manufacturing on such a small scale, they developed methods to mass produce such parts while maintaining precision.
Their micro-parts are recognized as outstanding by manufacturers in Japan as well as those around the globe.
The dramatic drop in prices and reduction in product size that their technologies have brought about has increased the pace at which mobile phones have gained in popularity.

Micro-parts are an important field of development for Fuserashi in the twenty-first century, used not only in mobile phones but information devices, imaging equipment, audio-visual devices and other electronics.

Supporting Hybrid Electric Venicles

One step in reducing greenhouse gases being released into the atmosphere is the development of hybrid energy vehicles (HEVs), commonly referred to as hybrid cars.
Batteries used in HEVs already on the road in every country around the world use Fuserashi’s HEV parts.

Fuserashi develops HEV parts using such technologies as cold heading and cold forging.
They work with their clients to investigate shapes, materials and other part aspects that yield better streamlining and higher performance while ensuring a cost advantage during mass production.
They will continue their research and development to achieve the ultimate goal of a true zero-emission vehicle, one that imposes no burden whatsoever on the environment.

Batteries employing Fuserashi technologies that replace lead-acid batteries play an important role in improving everyone’s lives and the environment around us as do other devices using such Fuserashi innovations as electric bicycles, cordless vacuum cleaners and power tools.

One-sided Bolts as the Future of Urban Development

Of all the requirements for buildings and structures that compose a city, the most important elements are safety and workability.

In particular, the joints formed by the steel frame and beams in reinforced concrete architecture require a high level of safety and workability, yet because they could conventionally be worked only from one side, the joints used to be welded.
Welding, however, is inefficient because of the mastery required by the individual worker, and an X-ray inspection is required due to the variation that occurs in welding work.

To solve this issue, Fuserashi developed a technology that enables even novice workers to fasten powerful, one-sided bolts.

This has improved joints for stronger earthquake resistance, lowered working costs, and improved the speed of construction and energy savings in buildings.
Fuserashi’s one-sided bolts are an advancement in joining technology, incorporating both high safety and workability, elements which were conventionally considered to be trade-offs.
In addition to the structural parts of buildings, applications of Fuserashi’s one-sided bolts include bridge reinforcement and securing the walls of expressways.
